XENAX integration in AllenBradley PLCs
Easy integration of our XENAX® with EtherNet/IP interface in Allen Bradley PLCs (Studio5000) is provided with the JSC-MC-AOP Add-On Profile. It is based on the PLCopen Motion Control standard with the profile position mode available.

The XENAX® Xvi 75V8 Ethernet servo controllers control all series of the LINAX® linear motor axes and the ELAX® electric slide product family. Master-Slave function, Force Calibration (compensation of the cogging forces in iron core linear motors) and optional “Safety” functionalities such as SS1, SS2, or SLS are further features of this compact XENAX® Xvi 75V8 servo controller. It is also possible to control servo motors series RAxx (ultra-compact rotary axes) and RT-xx (round table with hollow shaft). Customary rotary AC/DC/EC servo motors can also be operated by the XENAX® Xvi 75V8.
The XENAX® servo controller with EtherNet/IP bus module can be controlled over the EtherNet/IP adaptation of CIP (Common Industrial Protocol). The device uses the device profile “Generic Device” according to CIP specification. Explicit and implicit messaging is supported. Explicit messaging is primary intended to configure XENAX® servo controller. Implicit messaging is primary intended for motion control functionality. Over implicit messaging, the servo controller can be controlled in accordance to CANopen DS402 drive profile.
