Interoperability Test Tool

The NetStaX™ EtherNet/IP Device Interoperability Test Tool (EDITT) automates key aspects of ODVA interoperability and PlugFest validation procedures. It enables structured testing of EtherNet/IP devices under simulated multi-device and multi-scanner conditions, supporting both I/O and Explicit messaging to validate real-world interoperability behavior beyond basic conformance.

EDITT provides repeatable test execution, pass/fail reporting, and detailed logging of test activity and network traffic. It’s designed to help development teams prepare for ODVA PlugFest events and interoperability certification by identifying behavioral issues early in the development lifecycle.
