The BusWorks XT series combines rugged construction, high-density design, and easy USB-to-PC/Windows setup to provide a very effective I/O solution. These units are ideal for remote monitoring, distributed control, or SCADA applications. Each 22.5mm module processes I/O signals on up to sixteen channels and features dual isolated Ethernet ports, as well as pluggable front-facing terminals, for more convenient wiring. This arrangement allows daisy-chaining of modules to simplify installation and reduce costs by minimizing switch requirements.
A variety of analog and digital (discrete) I/O models are available with flexible input/output ranges to accommodate a broad range of sensors and actuators. Units operate off a 12-32V DC power source and support a rail power bus for alternate primary or redundant power. Wide temperature operation enables use in -40°C to +70°C environments. For more dependable communication, BusWorks XT units employ Innovasic's PriorityChannel™ technology, which makes certain that critical data is received on time regardless of traffic on the network. PriorityChannel provides determinism at the device for consistent transmission of time-sensitive data with any of the Ethernet protocols.
