The IndraControl L family is an extremely compact, modular and scalable controller-based hardware platform for PLC and motion control applications. It combines the advantages of embedded PC architecture with a standardized I/O system equipped with terminal technology.

The family includes solutions suitable for cost-sensitive PLC as well as high-performance motion applications. Available controllers are L10, L20, L25, L40, L45 and L65, all with configurable communication interfaces.

Expanding the local I/O is possible by simply adding additional Inline I/O modules. The complete application programs, including runtime and user data, are stored on a standardized CompactFlash card.

With the IndraLogic and IndraMotion automation systems, both PLC and motion control solutions are available. These systems ensure user-friendly programming with the IEC 61131-3 compliant IndraWorks engineering software. All IEC 61131-3 programming languages (IL, LD, FBD, ST, SFC) are available for PLC functionality. For motion control, a module library is available, with technological functions like reference mark control, automatic tension control, cam controller, flying cutoff, interpreter for handling axes or measuring wheel.
