Datalogic, Inc. Barcode Scanning Technology - Datalogic has built an unquestioned worldwide leadership in data capture for over 30 years. Datalogic offers innovative bar code reading solutions that allow information to flow faster, easier, and more accurately. Datalogic's comprehensive range of bar code scanners includes: hand held and fixed positioned laser and CCD bar code readers and high-speed vision systems.
The 6000 series is a set of industrial readers, designed to offer the best solution in all reading applications from Manufacturing to Transportation and Logistics industries. The 6000 series is offered in three models, DS6300, DS6400 and DS6500, all sharing the same 6000 concept, that is a complete and modular solution in terms of reading performances, connectivity, ease of use and maintenance.
Modularity and flexibility of the 6000 series is based on the innovative mechanical design with the separation of the scanner in two parts: reading Head and decoder Base. As a result of this, it is possible to install the scanner always in the ideal position, by simply rotating the Head / Base position. All the scanners are offered in linear or with integrated oscillating mirror reading head.
A high speed LonWorks bus makes it possible to inter-connect a cluster of scanners without creating any bottlenecks in the communications with the host. The integration of EtherNet/IP and TCP-IP protocol in the decoder base expands the networking and remote diagnostic capabilities of the scanner. The possibility of sending diagnostic or statistical messages, even through the Web, provides a great advantage for service and maintenance and reduces plant downtime costs.
