Each MICE Family modular industrial Ethernet switch is comprised of a head unit and backplane as well as various media modules that can be combined depending on the requirements of the application. Due to their compact shape the switches can be used either centrally in the switch cabinet or in small distribution enclosures. Compliance with industrial standards, as well as redundant 24-volt power supply and support for various forms of redundancy ensure high availability of the network. In this way the MICE family is well suited to usage in an industrial environment as it also offers flexibility and security options. Furthermore, the latest firmware offers easy integration into RSLogix™ 5000, allowing users to have 2-way switch setting and network status communication with the switch from a HMI screen.
