The PSS SB2 3006-3 ETH-2 is an open compact safety system with Ethernet/IP Scanner and Adapter functionality. The two SafetyBUS p interfaces (SB2) provide the connection of safety related decentralized I/O (up to 8064) as well as the installation of a safety related network of several PSS systems.
The Ethernet ETH-2 allows an open communication on the basis of the industrially relevant Ethernet protocols like EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, TCP/IP or UDP/IP and remote control of the complete system.
The Ethernet ETH-2 functionality is implemented in all PSS controllers of the PSS SB 3006-3 ETH-2, PSS 3047-3 ETH-2 and PSS 3075-3 ETH-2 families.
The EtherNet/IP network for Scanner and Adapter is easily and comfortably configured via the Pilz Ethernet Configurator. Within a few mouse clicks all relevant data like IP address, mapping table, time out, cycle times are entered.
With the EtherNet/IP controllers PSS built in communication capabilities your entire enterprise can use standard EtherNet/IP including internet activity and SafetyBUS p to control and monitor production and ensure high productivity by high safety and diagnostic level.
