The 1732E ArmorBlock™ Quick Connect I/O is an IP67/69K rated remote I/O node. Quick Connect (QC), an added functionality of Ethernet/IPTM, allows connection within 500 ms between the controller and 1732E ArmorBlock QC modules. This enables the Ethernet/IP devices to quickly power up and join an Ethernet/IPTM network within 500msec.

It is also equipped with dual-port Ethernet for linear topology, as well as dual-port auxiliary power connectors for daisy chain of 24Vdc power. This module also comes with 6 Kbytes of built-in FRAM data memory to facilitate retention of information such as batch processing and equipment lifecycle management and other possible applications.
