Flexible Integration of EtherNet/IP Protocol in Field Devices

The Softing Universal Industrial Ethernet Module can be directly integrated into a field device, by providing switch IP for EtherNet/IP or an EtherNet/IP adapter with integrated switch. A dual ported RAM is provided as the interface. The protocol as well as the interface can be tailored to customer requirements.
