This switch is an active network component that distributes data to the corresponding addresses within a network in a targeted fashion. wenglor switches are fitted optionally with additional Power over Ethernet technology. The power supply is integrated into existing network connection by means of Power over Ethernet. As an addition to Industrial Ethernet, there are several digital inputs and outputs directly on the switch that can be activated or evaluated via the network.
