The linear cable reel can be used in applications up to 1200 inches. Simply attach the cable to the moving element of the process and the sensor provides linear data via DeviceNet. In a hostile environment the cable reel sensor can be mounted remotely.

The 925 Cable Reel plugs in as a node on any DeviceNet system. Continuous linear position data is provided with 12-bit resolution. In addition, 8 built-in user programmable set-points are available over the network.
