The DeviceNet 1986DN resolver combines the reliability and resolution or the resolvers continuous rotary position sensing with DeviceNet communications. The 1986DN plugs in as a node on any DeviceNet system. Continuous rotary and RPM data is provided with 12-bit resolution. In addition, 8 built-in user programmable set-points transmitted over the network allow direct control of critical functions. This gives the user the ability to eliminate programmable limit switches or other added electronic modules.
