The perfect match for an abundance of applications in industrial automation. This drive series covers an output range from 0.25 to 400 kW (0.5 to 500 HP) at 200-240V/380-500V/550-600V/690V, with scalable shaft performance ranging from U/f control to servo performance.
The frequency converters are available in book style and compact versions with enclosures in IP20/Chasis, IP21/NEMA Type1, IP55/NEMA Type12, and IP66 version. With the choice of using either forced cooling or cold plate cooling this drive is easy to build-in anywhere.
Among the many innovative features included are is the user programmable Smart Logic Control(essentially a “mini-Sequencer”) featuring an innovative approach to simplifying the programming task of small logic operations, whereby all programming can be done by setting only a small selection of parameters. Built-in RFI filters are available to meet EN 55011 1A + B requirements. The built-in DC link filter significantly reduces the harmonic distortion created making external line reactors superfluous.
The VLT® FC300 AutomationDrive has a number of options for increased flexibility. The MCO 305 Motion Control Option features motion control technology functions for use in applications requiring synchronization, positioning and electronic cam control. Available with two motor feedback interfaces include 5V TTL incremental, absolute SSI, Endat, HYPERFACE ® , encoders and resolvers.
The VLT ® FC 302 drive features (as standard) a safe stop function suitable for category 3 installations in compliance to the EN-954-1standard.
The Quick Menu ensures simple commissioning and programming by following prompts in the display, while the Automatic Motor Adaptation (AMA) automatically adapts the drive to the connected motor.
