DeviceNet Safety Distributed IP20 CompactBlocks provide communication of safety information between GuardPLC or GuardLogix™ safety controllers, and any safety component on the network. The DeviceNet Safety I/O blocks allow for flexible safety system design due to granular I/O content and are all UL508 and TUV certified for applications up to SIL3 and category 4.

• The 1791DS-IB12 provides twelve safe inputs and four configurable standard semiconductor outputs (NPN)
• The 1791DS-IB8XOB8 provides eight safe inputs, eight safe semiconductor outputs (NPN), and four configurable standard semiconductor outputs (NPN)
• The 1791DS-IB4XOW4 provides four safe inputs, four safe outputs (relay) and four configurable standard semiconductor outputs (NPN)
