The EtherNet/IP™ Communications Auxiliary is an EtherNet/IP to DeviceNet linking device used to pass through EtherNet/IP explicit and I/O messages for up to six DeviceNet-based devices. Users will be able to view and configure device parameters using an internal web interface. RSLinx® Classic can be used to serve device Parameters via Microsoft OPC.

An option exists to connect to a Device Level Ring (DLR) network topology using two Ethernet ports. Automatic Device Replacement (ADR) capabilities are available for the devices being scanned. An Add-On Profile (AOP) is available to ease the integration of scanned devices into a Logix Control system.
