ArmorPoint I/O is a compact, modular IP67-rated I/O system that consists of I/O modules and adapters.

This family of products is ideal for general purpose, distributed I/O applications. Because the modules contain no wiring, downtime required to replace modules is eliminated.

• Up to 63 ArmorPoint I/O modules may be connected to a single ControlNet adapter
• Interfaces up to 256 digital I/O or 128 analog I/O or 25 bar code reader ASCII interfaces
• Diagnostic status indicators for network and I/O
• Adapter can provide diagnostics for failed or removed I/O modules
• Individual components allow you to mix and match I/O types, and termination styles
• Redundant media support
• Uses TNC tap for IP67 rating
• Adapter firmware is FLASH upgradeable over ControlNet for easy access to new features
• Compatible with ControlLogix® architecture
• Low cost serial to ControlNet interface solutions for bar code readers, printers and other field devices
