ControlNet to SCANport™ Module
The 1203-CN1 provides an optional interface for a variety of Allen-Bradley drive and motor control products, and offers deterministic scheduled I/O and unscheduled messaging on the same wire. This is a DIN-rail mounted module that supports the redundant coax media option for ControlNet. A local serial port is available for accessing the product using a 1203-SFC cable and software tools.
When connecting to a ControlNet network, the following are required:
ControlNet to DPI™ Adapter
The 20-COMM-C (coax adapter) or 20-COMM-Q (fiber adapter) provide an optional interface for a variety of Allen-Bradley PowerFlex® architecture class drives. These include the PowerFlex® 70, PowerFlex® 700, PowerFlex® 700S, PowerFlex 700L, PowerFlex® 700H, PowerFlex DC drive and motor control products. These all offer deterministic scheduled I/O and unscheduled messaging on the same wire. This is an internally mounted adapter within the drive that supports the redundant coax or fiber media option for ControlNet.
ControlNet option card (20-750-CNETC) is available for control applications requiring a real-time, deterministic, repeatable, control-layer network to provide high-speed 5 Mbps transport of both time-critical I/O and messaging data. Available for the PowerFlex 750-Series.
