The EtherNet/IP™ protocol is used to exchange time critical application information between industrial devices such as sensors and actuators, or complex devices like robots and programmable logic controllers. BL67 gateways are designed to interface modular fieldbus nodes to the higher level Ethernet fieldbus. BL67’s Ethernet gateways coordinate the entire I/O data exchange and generate detailed diagnostic information for the control platform.

• Available with programmable controller on board to provide de-centralized control capability of I/O

• OPC server capability is available to provide real-time I/O data to any existing OPC solution
• Gateway has visible rotary address switches
• One BL67 system can handle up to 32 electronic modules, up to 64 analog or 256 digital I/O points
• RFID interface is available
• Electronic modules are replaceable without removing I/O wiring
• Modules are available with 2, 4, or 8 channels
• I/O modules are color coded and keyed to prevent insertion of an incorrect module
• Base modules are available with eurofast®, minifast® or picofast® connectors
• BL67 system is IP67 rated, and DIN rail or flange flange mountable without the need for a protective enclosure
• I/O assistant software is FREE optional assistance for online or offline engineering, parameter set-up, documentation, commissioning, and diagnostics
